Pushkar Fair
The sand dunes of Rajasthan receives countless step with the onset of cattle trade fair in Pushkar, situated 11 km from Ajmer. The fair is a twelve day event, held annually during the month of October or November and is believed to be the largest camel trade fair all over the world.

Accordingly is is one of the five holy cities, blessed with the one of the two shrines devoted to Lord Brahma in India. Myths says that a battle between Lord Brahma and demon Vajra Nabh, led the petals of Lord’s lotus flower float down on the earth and formed places in and around Pushkar. Since then the place got surrounded by 500 temples and 52 palaces, maintained by bygone kings and rulers.
